Guess what!? My sisters and I got to meet Santa! He was so nice and it was a lot of fun! Do you like our picture? I hope so!Now on to something more important. As all of you know, the failing economy has been hurting a lot of people in many ways. Unfortunately, our furry friends in shelters and rescues are not exempt. Non-profit organizations dedicated to helping abused and discarded animals depend heavily on kind donations. And with everyone having to give so much less this year, they could really use some extra help.
We've gone to our local SPCA in Long Beach (where we rescued Brooklyn) and donated blankets, cat litter (clay, non-clumping), and toys. We were told these were the items they needed most. But we recommend you call your local location to see what you could contribute that would be most helpful. Even if you can't give much, every little bit counts.
